Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we at CrossConsense will also take some preventive actions to ensure the health of our employees. Beginning today, a part of our employees will work in home offices.

Which effect does that have for our current customers?

Please send all your ticket inquiries either via email or through our ticketing system. We might temporarily not be available by phone and it makes it easier for us to distribute the workload for the team if inquiries reach us in written form. We have the capability to access customer content remotely so that nothing will really change for you as our customer.

If you have problems outside of our office hours (24/7):

Please do not forget to send your ticket to our hotline email address followed by calling the hotline-number.

Current service level agreements and response times will remain in place and CrossConsense will continue to provide support services as required, but we also ask you to understand that some things might not work perfectly especially in the beginning.

Whenever you have the feeling that something has to be improved, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Initially we wanted to rent land from a local farmer to set up a big flower meadow but because all of his land is leased for the coming year, we decided to support the “Wünschewagen of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund”. That is a project that makes it possible to fulfill a very special wish of seriously ill people who are taken to their favorite place by a specially prepared ambulance (https://wuenschewagen.de/).

Aircraft Fleet View in the cloud

Aircraft Fleet View now available as a Cloud Web App

What does that mean for you as a customer?
It gives us the opportunity to offer the Aircraft Fleet View App without having to build up a hardware environment and so the preparatory process to get the App running with your data can be shortened.

Why should you use CrossConsense’s Aircraft Fleet View?
This progressive Web App gives you an always up-to-date view on your airline’s fleet status on your mobile phone, e.g. it indicates AOGs, delays and other important information. It provides the right level of detail to be useful but not crowded with information. The Aircraft Fleet View is meant e.g. for the management of an airline as well as for pilots who want to get a general overview over the status of their fleet or their aircraft. But it could also be used by mechanics who want to have a quick glance first but then also want to have a detailed look on the problem in AMOS to which Aircraft Fleet View is linked to.

CrossConsense supports Brussels Airlines initiative Bike for Africa 2020

Every two years Brussels Airlines organizes Bike for Africa, an event dedicated to aid the people most in need in the African continent. And because we at CrossConsense are enthusiastic about such an initiative that is supported by Mike Vanderlinden – one of our contact persons at Brussels Airlines – we are more than willing to encourage him on his way through Africa to Rwanda on a bike. CrossConsense donated 500 € for this social project to support sustainable development in the region.

Horse Therapy for Janina

Horse-riding therapy for Janina

Instead of sending Christmas cards, CrossConsense’s management decided to support MainLichtblick e.V. again – a non-profit-organization located in Frankfurt that takes care about seriously ill, physically impaired and traumatized children. CrossConsense decided to sponsor a horse-riding therapy for 5-year-old Janina who has been suffering at a chromosome aberration since birth and had a heart surgery recently.
The lively girl adores horses and by sitting on her favorite horse “Fee” (German for fairy), Janina’s motor skills are trained.

MainLichtblick and CrossConsense are very happy about this successful wish fulfillment!

AMOS Support for WizzAir

CrossConsense provides AMOS support for Wizz Air

Wizz Air, established in 2003, provides low-cost air transport to and from Central and Eastern Europe. Being an AMOS customer since 2010 and operating 106 Airbus aircraft (72 Airbus A320, 34 Airbus A321) the workload of AMOS has increased during the last couple of months. Having in mind that Wizz Air has got further 265 aircraft in the order book, the IT department realized that it would be good to get additional external support regarding AMOS. Wizz Air decided in favor of CrossConsense because of their proven experienced AMOS support given to other major European airlines like EasyJet, Brussels Airlines, Volotea and Lufthansa CityLine (amongst others).

Christian Ambiehl, Head of Maintenance at Wizz Air says: “We successfully used CrossConsense products and skilled services for our initial implementation of AMOS 9 years ago and continuously used their system interfaces which always proved to give professional results. Really depends on the type of request. Routine requests have a quick response. For less routine items it can take quite a long period…

Overall, are you satisfied with CrossConsense’s performance regarding the AMOS upgrade?
Following a number of mails and phone conversations I was happy with the flexibility given to us…

Of course, we know that there is always room for improvement and we initiated countermeasures by hiring new employees in order to cushion bottlenecks and establish a faster and more effective communication with our customers. Right now, we keep an eye on older tickets and hope that we will be able to solve even complex enquiries within the next couple of weeks. So, together with your support (e.g. when one of our customer support agents asks for clarification to one of your tickets, please also give him an answer asap) we are striving for an even better result of our customer support survey in 2019.

Successful MRO Europe in Amsterdam

As we exhibited at the #MROE for the first time we did not really know what to expect. But we were amazed that our booth was always crowded. We had the opportunity to meet old friends and talk to “new” people in the aviation industry.
